Website Case Strategies

Cloudtippers tailors each website for each client. Good architecture and design showcase content, the real reason people come to a website. Here is a behind-the-scenes peek at the strategies Cloudtippers utilized with a few clients:

John Austin Hanna Studio:

John Austin Hanna is a nationally renowned artist who wanted a virtual gallery experience to showcase his paintings. Simple and visually appealing was paramount.

Cloudtippers' strategy: John Austin Hanna is a prolific painter and wanted the flexibility to add new paintings to the website himself. We created a web-interface with his Flickr account to allow for consistent sizing and fast download of pictures within each genre. This also allowed for painting title, size, and pricing to be included with each picture. This was very cost-effective for the client since we didn't have to create a custom database for them.

We learned people buy art for the stories they tell and the emotions each piece evokes. The blog is a way to give voice to those stories and other musings of the artist. It also allows others to contribute to the conversation in another venue besides his Facebook page.

John's life is as textured as his paintings and we wanted to capture his personality, rich commercial background, and professional training. Check out more of John's paintings at John Austin Hanna Studio.

Fredericksburg Serendipity

The innkeepers of this charming bed and breakfast wanted a warm, welcoming website that reflected the experience shared in their guestbook by people who stayed there.

Cloudtippers' strategy was to evoke an amazing getaway experience through pictures and language. Design details in the navigation buttons, rotating testimonials throughout the site, and connecting the stories of the personal furnishings with the historical richness of Fredericksburg create a visually delightful and anticipatory experience.

Serendipity uses a reservation service so making a seamless transition between Serendipity's site and the reservation service's site was critical.

A concierge at a fine hotel is an indispensable resource for what to do and where to eat. We created a Concierge page with continuously updating links for where to eat, events, and other things to do in the area during a stay.

We learned that many have not stayed in a bed and breakfast because they didn't know what to expect. We created a page to specifically address possible concerns. By addressing a potential barrier, individuals and couples who had never stayed in a bed and breakfast before were willing to try a new experience.

Make Fredericksburg Serendipity your next getaway.

BEGreatNext

The Boys & Girls Club of Northeast Texas wanted a website that was informative and useful.

Cloudtippers' strategy was to create a site that evoked the sense of wonder and discovery so prevalent in children. Our color inspiration was from the primary colors found in a beginner's box of five crayons.

We also wanted to play off the BE Great marketing theme and incorporated that in the navigation. We utilized professional videos from the Boys & Girls Club of America to tie in the connection with the national organization and its celebrity spokespeople.

Stories are heartwarming and engaging. We had Club members, staff, and board members share what the Club means to them and why they're involved.

Non-profits never pass up a donation opportunity, so we created this philanthropic ability right in the sight. Donor information also feeds directly into their donor database. Pages are easily added for events and other FUNdraising opportunities. Registering through a secure portal segues seamlessly to the donor database to eliminate duplicate data entry and accounting.

The Boys & Girls Club is known for the impact their programs are making in the lives of young people. They've invested in an evolving marketing campaign that began with BE Great. Just as we finished the website, they rolled out Great Futures Start Here. The BeGreatNext website can easily evolve with the updated messaging of the national organization.

Cloudtippers also developed and integrated several other web apps for the Boys & Girls Club of Northeast Texas.
